![]() ![]() Difference between 3D and 4D Silk Fiber Lash Mascara – What’s the difference? You can get a different look by using eyelashes combs or Tweezers. An adhesive-free solution has made it possible for people who have allergies to adhesive to have short and sparse eyelashes. A dry fiber mascara, like a regular mascara, is made from fiber. ![]() But if you’re just looking for a mascara that will help to lengthen and thicken your lashes, then 3D mascara will be fine.ĭry fiber mascaras include the 4D Silk Fiber Lash mascara and the 3D Fiber Lash mascara. So, if you’re looking for longer, fuller and more dramatic lashes, then 4D mascara is the way to go. 4D mascara is made with four different types of fibers that do the same thing as 3D mascara, but also help to give your lashes a more dramatic look. They both claim to give you longer, fuller lashes, but what’s the difference between them? 3D mascara is made with three different types of fibers that help to lengthen, thicken and curl your lashes. 3D and 4D mascara are two of the newest types of mascara on the market. But with so many different types of mascara on the market, it can be hard to know which one is right for you. It can help to make your eyes look bigger, brighter and more awake. I rated it quite highly bc I'm not into dramatic lashes! I just wanted a MLBB mascara and these did the job well.Mascara is one of the most essential makeup products in a woman’s arsenal. Tbh I think both are so so similar that if you did a blind test, you wouldn't be able to definitively say which is which!!!īut I do prefer 3D more bc it's more volumizing and holds the curls better. I think 4D is very slightly less clumpy, but tbh 3D is alright too. Neither are very clumpy, but will be clumpy if you apply multiple coats of course. I don't really have an oily eye area so idk, sorry. ![]() I could remove them easily with Bioderma's micellar water, but when I wore them to the movies where I cried a little (not Kim K ugly sobbing haha just one or two tears) and dabbed my eyes with a tissue, I didn't see any black marks on the tissue, and I didn't see any around my eyes either. TBH I didn't see much difference in terms of lengthening. I need to get the Shiseido curler soon lolol. My biggest problem is droopy lashes and sad to say, neither type holds the curls well :disappointed_relieved: I curl them with Etude House's curler then apply the mascara, but 3D only held like 40% of the curls and 4D held 30%. Not sure if you can tell from the pics but 3D seems to give more volume than 4D, despite 4D being marketed as the more volumizing one? It wasn't much volume though, just enough to be MLBB~ Sorry I couldn't get any side views!! :( My phone couldn't focus right - and that's why I took sooo long to do this Part 2 bc I actually retried over multiple days TT On YOUR RIGHT (so "my left" when I'm facing you in the pic) I used 3D on YOUR LEFT I used 4D. If you're a student and your school bans makeup but you want your eyes to be a lil fancy, then this IS for you! If you're into dramatic lashes, this is NOT FOR YOU. TL DR - A very natural everyday MLBB (My Lashes But Better) mascara Water(Aqua), Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Acrylates Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Beeswax(Cera Alba), VP/Hexadecene Copolymer, PVP, Triethanolamine, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Lanolin Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Alcohol, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA I couldn't find the ingredients for 4D, so idk if they're different! But here is the 3D one: Supposedly, the difference in brush type means that 3D is for length, and 4D is for volume. ![]()
